… for the 2023/2024 season

Covid Protocols

1. When dealing with a patient, the patroller MUST wear gloves and a mask. 

2. Screen the patient for COVID, as follows:

  • Have you recently been diagnosed with COVID-19….. YES or NO?

If YES (or symptoms present, ask patient to put on an offered mask

a)  If patient refuses, cease treatment

b)  If accepted, ask the screening questions (as outlined below)

If NO (and no symptoms present, offer mask, but it is optional.

3. Screening questions

Do you feel unwell?

Do you have:

a)   a fever or feel feverish?
b)  a new or worsening cough?
c) shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?

4. The Patrol Clinic is considered to be an indoor medical clinic environment and anyone in the clinic MUST wear a mask.

5. Proceed with treatment.

APL’s may be required for the 2023/2024 season
